Water Bottle Filling Stations

The Community Water Bottle Filling Station Initiative aims to to engage communities around the second Healthy Kids Community Challenge theme Water Does Wonders, and encourages kids and families to drink water as a healthy alternative to sugar-sweetened beverages.

This initiative is supporting twenty-three non-profit organizations/groups to purchase Water Bottle Filling Stations, providing access to fast, clean, hands-free water.

Stations are being installed in a variety of locations throughout Leeds and Grenville such as schools, libraries, recreation centres and community hubs. Over the next few months, recipients of this initiative will be promoting their new stations and educating their communities about the health benefits of drinking water and reducing sugar-sweetened beverages.
